Mumu's Pudding Shop

With Mumu’s, our design approach focused on creating a space that serves both customers and the team behind the counter. Beyond the experience of those coming in and out, the space was designed to feel comfortable and supportive for the people who spend their days working within it.

The tall gabled façade lets the shop breathe from the street, while the black-framed glass keeps it open but still calm. Inside, we softened the space with plants, warm seating, hanging fabrics, and small domestic details, so it doesn’t feel like a rigid commercial store. It has a rhythm of its own.

One thing we cared about was avoiding that boxed-in feeling for the staff. High ceilings, daylight, greenery, and the narrow garden strip give the working area air and pause. The shop is not only made to be visited, but also to be lived in through daily work.
