KSPPS BMT Karisma Temanggung

If the main office in Magelang was about building trust through a more formal presence, the Temanggung branch moves in a slightly more expressive direction. The task here was to make a branch office that could be recognised easily from the road, carry the same BMT Karisma identity, and still feel familiar to the community around it.

That is why the façade speaks more openly. The orange pointed frame brings a clear Islamic gesture to the front, while the blue panel, perforated screens, and white louvers keep the building tied to the visual language of Karisma. It is still part of the same family, but not a copy of the headquarters.

What we liked in this project was the chance to make an institutional building feel visible without becoming distant. The front stays clean and upright, but the layered elements help break the mass and make the branch feel more approachable, more like a place people can walk into comfortably, not just pass by and look at from outside.
